Brainin is a global manufacturer of precious metal electrical contacts, precision metal stampings, engineered assemblies, custom and catalog terminals, airbag components and other specialty products. Headquartered in Attleboro, Massachusetts, the company also operates facilities in Fairfield, Ohio; Mexico City and Foshan, China. Established in 1939, Brainin is certified to TS 16949 and/or ISO 9001:2000 in all facilities.

Internal processes at Brainin include stamping, four-slide, cold heading, composite heading, welding, staking, brazing, toplay, seam welding, machining, burst disk production and testing, heat treating, plating, inline and batch cleaning and many secondary operations. In-die tapping, staking and welding are fully automated. Complete assembly is available in the US, Mexico and China.

Engineering support is provided for manufacturing processes, new tooling development, application design and testing. All new tooling and automation is designed and built in-house. Tooling facilities are fully integrated with state-of-the-art wire EDM, CNC machining and three-dimensional CAD.
